7.0 Contact hour course on Caring for adults with developmental disabilities

Posted over 8 years ago by Jo Ann Fisher

Hello,

My name is Dr. Matthew Holder. I am a physician who cares for patients with adults with developmental disabilities. I have been working with a group of   nurse practitioners and the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council to   create an online course for Nurse Practitioners about caring for adults with   developmental disabilities. The course is free and has been accredited by the   AANP for 7.0 contact hours of continuing education. The course can be found   here: http://aadmd.org/npedd-webinar-series.

Please feel free to distribute this to any nurse practitioners or agencies   that you feel may benefit from this course. The course was developed by the   American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry (AADMD), a national   not-for-profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of   healthcare for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

All the best,

Matt
