2016 AMDA Futures Award Program

Posted over 8 years ago by Jo Ann Fisher

The American Medical Diresctors Association (AMDA) will have it's annual conference on March 17-20 at the Gaylord Palms Hotel in Orlando. The Foundation is opening the awards program to NPs who have or want to work in Long Term Care (LTC).

All participants who are chosen for this program will receive the following benefits:

Admission to the AMDA Foundation Futures Program on March 17, 2016;

  • 3-Day registration to AMDA-The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine Annual Conference 2016, in Orlando, FL;
  • One year of AMDA membership (now includes FREE webinars); and
  • Access to a program dedicated to professional development, Futures participants will receive additional benefits each year when they renew their AMDA membership.

Go to the AMDA Foundation website

Click on Futures Program, then Futures Application Process, then Online Application.

The form is designed for doctors so in the areas that don't apply to NPs, put in N/A or just click on any choice. You will notice this in the Program information section. All areas have to be addressed or it won't continue to the last page. You will be able to upload your CV and a brief letter as to your reason for wanting to be considered. They will notify you if you are selected. Good luck!
