Job Summary:

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing medical spa team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for wellness and aesthetic medicine. The NP will provide consultations and advocacy for other aesthetic modalities, including body contouring, microneedling, high-frequency ultrasound therapy, cryolipolysis therapy, electrolysis therapy, and electromagnetic stimulation therapy, among other modalities being regularly added to our growing practice. 

Responsibilities:

• Primary Care:
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.  
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe and manage medications.
• Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Weight Loss and Nutrition Programs:
• Develop and implement personalized weight loss and nutrition plans based on individual patient needs and goals.
• Conduct body composition analysis and metabolic assessments.
• Provide nutritional counseling and education.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Potentially prescribe weight loss medications when appropriate and in accordance with state and federal laws.

• Aesthetic Injectables:
• Administer aesthetic injectables, including Botox, dermal fillers, and other neuromodulators, in a safe and effective manner.
• Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess aesthetic goals and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest injection techniques and products.
• General Medical Spa Duties:
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with other spa staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Maintain accurate and up to date medical records.
• Follow all HIPAA and other applicable laws.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Florida.
• Certification in advanced practice nursing.
• Minimum of [Number] years of experience in primary care or a related field.
• Experience with weight loss and nutrition program management.
• Certification and experience in administering aesthetic injectables (Botox, dermal fillers, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for health, wellness, and aesthetic medicine.  
• Ability to use Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferred experience with eClinical Works.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be able to work Full time: Monday – Friday. 
• Experience in a medical spa setting.
• Additional certifications in related areas (e.g., nutrition, weight management).
